The Role

As Waste and Resource Recovery Officer, you will support the delivery of efficient and sustainable waste services that minimise environmental impact and maximise resource recovery for the community. Working closely with contractors, stakeholders and internal teams, you will manage waste operations, contracts, education initiatives and compliance activities, contributing to improved service performance and positive environmental outcomes across the Shire.

About You

You’re a motivated waste and sustainability professional who thrives on improving services and delivering real environmental outcomes. With experience in waste operations, contract management and compliance, you communicate confidently with contractors, colleagues and the community. You’re practical, organised and data-driven, with a strong understanding of waste legislation and a genuine commitment to safety, sustainability and continuous improvement.
