The Role

As the Municipal Building Surveyor / Coordinator Building Services, you will provide strategic leadership and professional management to the Building Services team, ensuring compliance with Victorian Building Legislation and the Building Act. You will foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement, driving team capability and delivering exceptional outcomes for the Moorabool community. This role involves engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, overseeing service delivery, promoting public awareness of building standards, and representing Council in regulatory and emergency management matters related to buildings. Your expertise as Municipal Building Surveyor will help shape a safer, more vibrant built environment for all.

A requirement of this role is that you have registration as a Building Surveyor Unlimited (without conditions).

Your strategic mindset and ability to navigate legislative requirements to ensure your team delivers outcomes that benefit both Council and the community will position you as a trusted leader within Moorabool Shire Council.
