Our focus is on building a healthy, inclusive and connected community; a liveable and thriving environment and an organisation that listens and adapts to the need of our evolving communities.

The Role

Shape the future of our community with your expertise.

Join Moorabool Shire Council as a Project Officer – Waste Transition and play a key role in driving our community towards a more sustainable future. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the implementation of our new household waste and recycling initiatives, including the transition to a standardised four-stream collection system. Working closely with internal teams, contractors, and the community, you’ll manage projects, develop education and engagement strategies, and ensure smooth service delivery. This position is ideal for a proactive communicator with strong project management skills and a passion for environmental sustainability.
