The Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and safety-conscious individuals to join our seasonal team as Pool Lifeguards at the Bacchus Marsh and Ballan outdoor pools. As a lifeguard, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our community by supervising pool patrons, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working flexible hours across weekdays and weekends, and contributing to a fun and active summer season. If you’re qualified, reliable, and passionate about aquatic safety, we’d love to hear from you.

• Interviews will be held between 22nd September and 3rd October where you will bring your best self to a relaxed, group style interview.
• If successful, you will need to be available to attend mandatory in-service training between 13 October and 17 October.

About You

You’ll bring current qualifications including the Pool Lifeguard Award with CPR, Level II First Aid, and a Working with Children Check and demonstrate strong communication skills, hazard awareness, and a reliable, flexible work ethic. Whether you're guiding young swimmers or supporting your team, your contribution will help ensure every visit to our pools is safe and memorable.
