Our focus is on building a healthy, inclusive and connected community; a liveable and thriving environment and an organisation that listens and adapts to the need of our evolving communities.

The Role

As the Payroll Support Officer, you’ll support the Senior Payroll Advisor and Strategy, Systems and Payroll Lead with processing the fortnightly payroll for Moorabool Shire Council staff. Given the dynamic nature of the Moorabool workforce key responsibilities will evolve as our workforce evolves however the fundamentals will include processing payroll documentation, timesheet management, STP reporting and payment of superannuation and other associated payments. Although our AI P&C Assistant Maddi takes care of a lot of questions these days, the payroll inbox continues to receive quite a bit of traffic so oversight of this inbox and the timely and accurate response to questions and queries will be another integral part of the role.
