The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable leader to manage a multifaceted role that includes procurement, occupation health and safety, workshop supervision and plant and equipment management.
In this unique position, you will be at the forefront of streamlining operations, ensuring efficient procurement processes, overseeing workshop activities, and managing the strategic replacement of plant and equipment.
You will lead a small team, drive cost-effective decision-making, and ensure the seamless integration of these critical functions to maintain operational continuity.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of strategic thinking, operational management, and team leadership, with a proven track record in procurement, OH&S, workshop management, and asset lifecycle planning. The role has a strong focus internally on developing improvements and efficiencies within the Operations Service Unit to deliver on the aims and objectives.

About You
The Coordinator Strategic Operations, plays a critical role in providing a high level of support across a number of operational departments, with a key Occupational Health and Safety lens. To be successful in this role you with have a strong background in leadership, fleet, plant and equipment maintenance and operations. A key focus of this role is Business Improvement, with developing and building frameworks that support development of the operations team and their related processes, ensuring compliance with various legislation and improvement in productivity.
You will hold a Tertiary or Trade qualification relating to fleet, plant and/or equipment maintenance management, coupled with relevant experience in a similar role.
