Job Description

About Council

Moorabool Shire Council is a cutting-edge organisation and industry leader in many fields rightfully instilling Council as a destination employer.  MSC’s commitment to be recognised as a best practice employer of choice is demonstrated by recently being announced the winner for HR Management in The Australian Business Awards 2024. The Australian Business Award for HR Management [HRM] recognises organisations that have successfully implemented initiatives that demonstrate excellence in human resource management and we are proud to have achieved this recognition.

Council continues to experience rapid growth and surging development and is an increasingly popular choice for those seeking rural tranquillity with a mix of urban lifestyle. With an innate focus on building a healthy, inclusive and connected community; a liveable and thriving environment and an organisation that listens and adapts to the needs of our evolving communities, by 2025, we will aim to be recognised for not just being an employer of choice for staff but also an organisation that advocates and supports a strong, inclusive community that co-exists with the natural environment.

About the role

School Crossing Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community. During school terms through rain or shine, Crossing Supervisors are responsible for assisting school children and other pedestrians at established children’s crossings.

This is a wonderful and rewarding opportunity to become part of, and assist the Moorabool Shire community in safely crossing the road whilst promoting and enhancing the safety of children and the general public using the crossings.
